Analysis: His first trade was as a welder in the 60's - he can be seen leaning over the wall. He sang in a folk rock band called the Humblebums - graffiti on the wall, together with his famous "F" word.  Also featured on the wall is a copy of a self portrait holding his banjo)The banana is a reminder of the banana boots he wore with added bells as he was sometimes referred to as Billy the Jester (with his stripey leggings), also a teapot spout which refers to his famous quote - "Never trust a man, who when left alone with a tea cosy ... doesn't try it on."

Sir Billy signed the original portrait on 2nd February 2016 at the Apollo Theatre in London during his High Horse Tour.  Donated to Cure Parkinson's Trust and achieved £1,200 for the charity at the Lions Rugby event in Scotland on 27th April 2017.
